    Registrations for the Queensland Academy of Sport’s YouFor2032 Daredevils Talent Search are currently closed. Please complete this form to express your interest in the next intake of Skateboarding, BMX Freestyle and Diving Daredevils Cohorts. We’ll be in touch once applications re-open. We accept young athletes aged 9–15 years with an aspiration for becoming an elite athlete in one of our Daredevil sports. If you're an aspiring sporting star looking to join our other Olympic (ages 13-23) or Paralympic (ages 13+) sport programs, please register and test in the YouFor2032 Talent Search App, available on the App Store or via our website.

  • The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) manages personal information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) (the IP Act). Personal information is as defined in the IP Act. QAS is collecting your personal information (in this collection notice 'personal information' includes the personal information of the parent/carer/guardian and of the child participant) in registration forms, consent forms, questionnaires and any videos you provide, or are taken by QAS (as outlined in the QAS Film/Photo Consent), for the purposes of:
    - Creating your account to register interest in the YouFor2032 Talent Identification Program driven by RACQ ("YouFor2032");
    - The assessment of your registration to determine participation eligibility in YouFor2032; and
    - Your participation in the YouFor2032 program.

    The type of personal information that may be collected, used, or disclosed may include sensitive information in the form of health information, which will be used only for the purposes listed above.

    The personal information being collected may also be provided to the testing venues for the above purposes.

    In addition to being provided to QAS workers, your personal information may be disclosed to State and National Level Sporting Organisations, Coaches, the Australian Institute of Sport, and appropriate QAS contracted service providers of YouFor2032, for the purpose of managing the YouFor2032 website and portal, testing data analysis to inform high performance sport suitability, and generating feedback reports from testing data. Feedback reports containing your personal information will be used by QAS and shared with the relevant State and National Level Sporting Organisations as necessary to determine your high-performance sport suitability. QAS may disclose your personal information to the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games for the purposes of reporting on the outcomes of YouFor2032. QAS may also disclose your personal information to relevant commercial partners and sponsors for marketing purposes, with your consent.

    The email address you provide as part of the registration process will be used by QAS and/or appropriate QAS contracted service providers to communicate with you in relation to YouFor2032, including to provide you with a copy of the feedback report generated from the contracted service provider. Dependent on your email service provider, this may involve the disclosure of your personal information overseas by way of servers hosted outside of Australia. Your email address may be used by QAS and disclosed by QAS to the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games and/or the Australian Institute of Sport for the purposes of notifying you of events and initiatives relating to YouFor2032 both now and in the future. If you do not wish to be notified of future programming, or later wish to opt out, please contact us via email at Youfor2032@sport.qld.gov.au.

    Personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties without the express consent of the person/s to whom the personal information relates (or a parent/carer/guardian where it relates to a child), unless authorised or required to do so by law.
